Takreem’s journey in memorizing the Quran began at the age of 9 and a half when he successfully memorized the entire Quran. His father, Hafeez Abdur Rahman, who is a madrasah teacher, played a significant role in his upbringing and education. Takreem hails from Umarpur village of Shailjana Union in the remote Char area of Yamuna river under Chauhali Upazila of Sirajganj district. However, due to the river erosion, his family had to move to the Bhadra village of Nagarpur police station in Tangail district.

Currently, Takreem is studying at Markazu Faizil Quran Al Islami Dhaka Madrasa located in Mirpur 1, Dhaka, where he is furthering his Islamic education and continuing his memorization of the Quran.

Takreem’s exceptional Quranic memorization skills have earned him numerous awards and honors. He won first place in the 38th Iran International Hifzul Quran Competition held in Tehran, Iran in 2022 when he was only 13 years old. He also won first place in the Hafezul Quran Competition organized by Banglavision Television during the month of Ramadan in 2020. Takreem’s talent was recognized globally when he participated in the 42nd King Abdulaziz International Hafezul Quran Competition held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 2022, where he secured third place in the fourth category among 153 Hafez from 111 countries, winning a prize of 1 lakh riyals.

Career

In addition to his international success, Takreem has also achieved recognition in his home country, Bangladesh. He won the 26th National Hefjul Quran Competition, securing first place out of 3000 contestants in February 2022. Takreem has also been honored by the Ministry of Religion of the Bangladesh Government and the Islamic Foundation for his achievements, and he has received a warm welcome and accolades from the Saudi embassy and ambassador.

Takreem’s success continued to soar as he won first place in the 26th Dubai International Quran Competition in April 2023, further showcasing his remarkable Quranic memorization skills.
