Actor Hasan Masood was born on December 16, 1962. This 58-year-old actor was born in Barisal, East Pakistan, Pakistan is now known as Bangladesh. He was born there in Barisal but grew up in Dhaka.
Hasan Masood studied at BAF Shaheen School, Dhaka, and completed his SSC from here. He then completed his HSC from Titumir College in Dhaka.
Hasan Masood then went on to join Bangladesh Military Academy under the University of Chittagong. He studied journalism as well as he has enlisted in the military.

Career
Hasan Masood was very fond of singing. Masood has been singing from a very young age. He even completed five-year-long courses on Nazrul Sangeet. Chayanaut.
Hasan Masood has lived quite a colorful life. He joined the Bangladesh Army in 1983 and commissioned from 11 BMA long course on December 21, 1984, in the corps of infantry. Hasan retired as a captain in 1992.
Hasan Masood then worked as a sports correspondent at The New Nation. Later, in 1995, at The Daily Star, he worked as a sports correspondent. He also worked as a correspondent of world service in the Bengali affiliate of the British Broadcasting Corporation from 2004 to 2005.
With a successful career as a journalist going well for him, he has approached by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. Hasan has asked to play a role in his film Bachelor in February 2003.
Hasan Masood realized this as an opportunity and took a break from his job at The Daily Star and started his acting career. The film in February 2004 was published.
Hasan has not taken any major acting lessons. He has taken a few classes in Shilpakala. Hasan then starred in many movies, including Chotto Sangsar, Common Gender, and Taarkata. And also in television shows like 69, Tiner Talwar, and Behind the scenes.

Hasan, as a singer, has sung many songs. He sang for his debut movie Bachelor in song Ajke Na Hoy Valobasho. His first music album Hridaye Ghotito released on February 14, 2006, on Valentine’s day.
Marzuk Russell wrote all the songs in the album, and the composer was Sanjeeb Choudhury. Bappa Mazumdar arranged the songs. The album contained all of 10 songs.
Hasan was on hiatus since 2016. In an interview, the actor stated that Masood was out of the public eye out of pride. In 2020 he saw an advertisement for awareness about sacrificial animals and hygiene rules surrounding buying of them.
It has aired for Eid-Ul-Azha. He said that as the ad is for government and attention, he has done it out of his responsibility as a citizen.
Hasan Masood will shoot for a movie in Kolkatta called Feriwala. He saw in a central role. This movie is base on a short story by Bibhutibushan Bandyopadhyay called Canvas.
It was supposed to start shooting in March of 2020 but has delaying due to an ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He is living with his family at Niketan residency in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
